Native Plant Training - MPW and Hui Kū Maoli Ola, along with partnership with Waimea Valley's Botanical Department, held our first Native Plants Community Training Workshop at Sharks Cove.Mililani High School's Environmental Science classes - Led by Sandy Webb the classes visited the Cove this week to study and give back.

Jack Johnson & MPW Team Up - May 2014 - Mālama Pūpukea-Waimea is teaming up with Jack Johnson on his 2014 From Here To Now To You Tour and All At Once, a social action network connecting nonprofits with people who want to become active in their local and world community.
Erosion at Sharks Cove- March 2014 - MPW is undertaking a pilot project to restore the coastline above Sharks Cove. Community volunteers at the Pūpukea area of the Marine Life Conservation District (MLCD) have noted a significant increase in erosion over the past 10 years as use of Pūpukea has increased. The goal of the project is to reduce the flow of sediment from eroded areas of Pūpukea Beach Park onto the coral reef below.
30th Anniversary of the MLCD - Nov 16, 2013 - Our community event to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the marine life conservation district was a huge success! It was a beautiful day filled with friends and smiles, sharing and education.
